Easter Eggs

Reminiscent of Bruno Dumont’s P’tit Quinquin (2014), Easter Eggs shares it’s atmosphere of strange stillness, and comedic ennui. Friends Jason and Kevin have seen an opportunity to catch and sell some escaped exotic parrots, to buy a mountain bike and smokes. But catching them isn’t as simple as it seems. The city’s commuters are too self-absorbed to have noticed that they are about to be engulfed by a giant pudding. How can something seemingly so delicious be so sinister? It seems that everybody thought someone else would do something about it, until it was too late.
