Maska is an adaptation of the author’s 1974 short story about the demonic female robot, Duenna, who has to annihilate the rebel threatening the royal throne. Roly Poly is a short film by one of Poland’s most influential directors, Andrzej Wajda, adapting another Lem story about a rally driver who survives a series of terrible accidents thanks to a brilliant surgeon who transplants multiple body parts, with complex ethical repercussions.
