Bowels of Hell

A delightfully trippy and socially conscious horror-comedy from Brazil, about a sewage system taken over by evil spirits.

Malu is a constipated event planner with a severe phobia of toilets due to a tragic event from her past. She also has a strained relationship with her non-binary child, who protests the gender reveal party she has been hired to plan. And now the toilets in their apartment building have turned carnivorous, making their way through the eccentric tenants one-by-one.

“Social satire meets (literal) toilet humor in the gruesomely entertaining Brazilian horror comedy Bowels of Hell.” — Max Borg, Film Verdict
