Caity

On Halloween, 16-year-old Caity juggles a new crush, her father’s sobriety and running the family haunted house in Lindsay Calleran’s outstanding debut.

Every October, Caity and her dad transform their home into a beloved local attraction. But when he relapses, Caity faces more than any teenager should, while navigating her own relationship with alcohol and a queer awakening. Led by Chiara Aurelia, with Morgan Spector and Zach Cherry (Severance), this is a tender, beautifully written coming-of-age drama.

“It’s truthful and painful, but never too heavy as to be an exhausting watch, thanks in part to the honest, powerful performances of the talented cast.” — Cody Dericks, Next Best Picture
