From Beyond

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Stuart Gordon’s From Beyond reunites the director with his Re-animator stars, Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton for another tale of Lovecraftian body-horror.

Dr. Edward Pretorius’ Resonator machine has pierced the boundaries of reality as we know it and released unimaginable horrors. It falls to his assistant Dr. Crawford Tillinghast as well as disbelieving psychologist Dr. Katherine McMichaels to stop Pretorius’ machine before it is too late.

“It’s perverse, bizarre and even stomach-churning at times, but you’ve honestly never seen anything quite like it.” — Rob Vaux, Collider
