Grotesqqque

A hit at this year’s Fantasia film festival, Grotesqqque is a music-fuelled, girl-filled anime anthology film in three parts from CloverWorks studio and Atsushi Nishigori, Chief Animation Director behind Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.

A(E)lien is a slapstick comedy starring a full-throttle alien octopus girl. In Yoroshiku★Girl, a frenzied battle royale is fought among gyarus (‘gals’). In Nocturne: Nuit Grotesque, a pureblood vampire and three ‘infected’ girls are sole post-apocalyptic survivors.
