Iron Boy

A beautiful, hand painted animation set in rural France, Iron Boy is also a personal story for the former Pixar animator Louis Clichy, a gently touching coming of age tale, often funny and consistently entertaining.

11-year-old Christophe tries to live up to his rigid and distant father on the family farm. But the young boy starts to lean over and collapse without warning. A doctor finds the solution that forces Christophe to reinvent his life and find new passions: he must wear an iron corset. Presented with Leeds Young Film Festival.

“Iron Boy is both visually dazzling and deeply personal… It is, in a word, lovely.” — Siddhant Adlakha, Variety
