Paper Tiger

American auteur James Gray returns to his roots in this 80s-set New York crime thriller starring Adam Driver and Miles Teller as two brothers entangled with the Russian mafia.

Teller plays engineer and family man Irwin who aspires to the middle-class American dream. When his older, show-boat brother Gary (Driver) presents him with a money-making project around oil dumped in the canal, he’s pulled into a dark, corrupt underworld. A gripping and tragic drama on pollution in all its forms.

“Pulsates with heart, rancor, and terror—thanks, in no small part, to standout performances from its illustrious leads Adam Driver, Scarlett Johansson, and Miles Teller.” — Nick Schager, The Daily Beast
